ABOUT LORI

Although she was always an unapologetic “nerd,” Lori discovered her passion for nutrition later in life. Growing up in rural West Texas, she found herself plagued with the same struggles as much of her family and friends - frustration and fatigue from obesity and a declining quality of life. It wasn’t until she learned to care for her first child that she discovered the immense role nutrition plays in health, and after her third child, that she understood the power of nutrition when combined with an active lifestyle. It was then that the combination of her passion for science, a love of delicious food, and sustainable exercise habits enabled her to break free from the unhealthy cycles she had been living in.

Once her kids were in school, Lori was ready to do the same. She obtained her Master of Science in Applied Nutrition from the University of New England before becoming a licensed and credentialed Registered Dietitian. As a lover of knowledge, Lori has attained several educational accolades and thrived through a rigorous intership that reflect her deep commitment to excellence and lifelong learning (see below).

As a dietitian, Lori has a myriad of interests, including supporting those facing weight-related conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), and metabolic syndrome, as well as women navigating challenges with fertility and menopause and those facing dietary intolerance issues such as Celiac’s Disease and wheat sensitivities.

Her approach is rooted in science and compassion. She brings empathy and clinical excellence to every session, helping clients make sense of complex nutrition information so they can confidently take charge of their health.

Lori believes in teaching, not telling — equipping you with the skills and knowledge to thrive long after your appointments end.
