KNOWLEDGE
IS POWER.

IN A WORLD FULL OF MISINFORMATION, WHO YOU ARE LISTENING TO MATTERS.

What’s in a name?

It is a bit shocking, but in most states, anyone can call themselves a “nutritionist” without having any validated education or certified training. For this reason, it is easy to understand why many are confused and frustrated about how to best care for themselves.

Disease Prevention.

Stronger. Happier. Healthier.

Almost anyone, at any stage of life, can benefit from improving their lifestyle to improve their quality of life and dramatically reduce their risk of the preventable illnesses that affect the majority of Americans.

A higher standard.

Registered Dietitians (RDs) are licensed healthcare professionals.

  • As of 2024, new RDs must have a Master’s Degree in nutrition

  • Complete a 1,000+ hour supervised internship

  • Pass a national registration exam for credentialing

  • Maintain continuing education hours to keep their license

Support & Improve Ailments

Each person’s dietary needs are unique to them. Dietitian’s make targeted dietary adjustments that align with and support your existing medical treatments to ensure the highest quality of care.

At WellFed, we take this one step further with the goal of improving your baseline metabolic function to reduce inflammation and support lasting wellness.

Evidence-based.

Nutrition is a science, not an opinion. Dietitians have a demonstrated understanding of biochemistry and human pathophysiology that underpins Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), a treatment modality that only RDs are credentialed to provide.

Insurance Coverage

A limited number of visits for Medical Nutrition Therapy provided by a RD may be paid for by many insurances for certain diagnoses such as diabetes, obesity, or kidney disease.

We are happy to look up the benefits offered by your plan to see what coverage you may qualify for!
